Teaching Personnel is recruiting graduates for Teaching Assistant roles across a range of secondary school settings in Sunderland and South Tyneside from September 2026.

These roles involve actively supporting learning in lessons, helping with literacy, and contributing to the social fabric of the school. A degree in any discipline and a warm, confident, people-focused approach are essential; Enhanced DBS is required. Long-term placements with competitive daily rates are available.

Teaching Personnel is recruiting graduates for Teaching Assistant roles across a range of secondary school settings in Sunderland and South Tyneside from September 2026. These are schools built around relationships, routine, and genuine student support — and they're looking for people who want to be properly involved, not just present.

Experience working with young people is an advantage, but not essential. What matters more is the right attitude — warm, confident, and genuinely interested in making a difference.

What the role looks like day to day:

• Supporting learning actively in lessons — moving around, engaging, encouraging
• Sitting with students at lunch and contributing to the social fabric of the school
