KPI Education is working with a successful secondary school in Reading that is looking to appoint an ambitious Graduate Teaching Assistant for the new academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to spend a full year developing your classroom skills while earning £25,000 per annum.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers to provide academic and pastoral support to pupils across the school.
Depending on your degree and interests, you may be placed within a specific subject department or work with pupils across several areas of the curriculum.

The school is particularly interested in graduates who are considering progressing into teacher training. You will gain first-hand experience of lesson delivery, behaviour management, intervention strategies and the wider responsibilities of working within a secondary school.
You should hold a degree from a UK university and have a genuine interest in education and working with young people.
Graduates from a wide range of subjects are encouraged to apply, including English, Maths, Science, Psychology, History, Geography, Languages, Humanities, PE, Sociology and Economics.
Previous school experience is advantageous but not essential. More importantly, you should be enthusiastic, reliable, proactive and confident communicating with young people.
