Teaching Personnel are working with a specialist school to find a Teaching Assistant to join their team of educators ahead of September 2025. We’re looking to hear from graduates and aspiring teachers that are available for work from July onwards.
The provision is located in Hengoed, just 10 minutes outside of Caerphilly and caters for pupils between the ages of 3 to 19 who have a range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic graduate who has a background in psychology or something of a similar nature. You should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and be enthusiastic about making a positive impact on the pupils’ lives. Your role within the school will be to lead 1:1 and small group sessions whilst playing a fundamental role in developing the pupils physical, emotional and social wellbeing.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
