About the Role

We are recruiting enthusiastic and motivated graduates for Graduate Teaching Assistant opportunities across our network of schools in Luton. These roles offer an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on classroom experience, support pupils with their learning and development, and build a strong foundation for a future career in education.

Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, you will help create a positive and engaging learning environment, providing academic and pastoral support to pupils across a range of age groups and abilities. Opportunities may be available in mainstream and specialist settings, depending on the needs of our partner schools.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to help pupils make progress.
• Assist pupils with classroom activities, literacy, numeracy and wider academic development.
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive and well‑managed learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence, participation and independence.
• Support pupils with additional learning needs, including SEND, where required.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff to meet pupils' individual needs.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a degree in any subject and is keen to pursue a career in education.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is patient, approachable and confident working with children and young people.
• Demonstrates initiative, adaptability and a positive attitude.
• Is passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.
• Has previous experience working with children or young people (desirable, but not essential).
