Monarch Education is seeking Graduate Teaching Assistants for special educational needs schools in Bristol. This full-time role offers the opportunity to support children with various needs, including Autism and ADHD. Graduate Teaching Assistant
Area: Bristol
Hours of Work: 32.5-40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:45 pm)

Monarch Education, part of Affinity Workforce, is seeking dedicated and compassionate Graduate Teaching Assistants to join SEN schools in Bristol. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and other needs. Previous experience in a school setting is not essential; a genuine passion for working with children and a willingness to learn are key.

About the Roles:
You will work in one of our client special schools across Bristol, on a 1:1 or small group basis with pupils aged 3-19, with emotional and behavioural difficulties. You will support pupils with diagnoses such as ADHD, Autism, Global Delay, Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties, and Social Emotional Mental Health needs. You will collaborate with the school's SLT, under the guidance of the class teacher and with parents, to meet the targets of each pupil’s Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP). Each school emphasizes team cohesion, providing a rewarding environment.
Training within SEN is preferred but not essential, as we offer online courses and training opportunities such as Safeguarding Training and Team Teach (free of charge). These roles are full-time and long-term, with potential for permanent employment. They are available to start immediately or from June 2025 to September 2025.
