Job summary

CBG Consultants Ltd in Cambridge is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to support sustainability projects across buildings. You will conduct feasibility surveys, assist with design and specification, and help hand over projects from inception to completion.

The role requires a degree in a relevant subject, good communication and organisation skills, and proficiency in MS Word/Excel. Driving licence and own transport are desirable for site visits.

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant subject.
• Knowledge or Experience of building services design.
• Experience in preparing daylight and sun light studies for planning will be an advantage.
• Excellent communicator with good organisation skills as you will be working both independently and within the current experienced team.
• Be a competent MS Word and Excel user.
• Own transport and driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking survey work and the production of feasibility reports for sustainability systems in buildings.
• Full design and specification for a wide range of sustainability systems.
• Visit a wide variety of sites to undertake feasibility surveys and attend site progress meetings.
• Review installations and see projects through from inception to completion and handover.
