CBG Consultants Ltd in Cambridge is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical services design with a focus on efficiency and building physics. The role is hybrid, working with teams in London, Oxford and Cambridge under senior engineers and project leaders.
The successful candidate will mentor junior staff, manage project workflows, bid for new work and contribute to fee proposals, QA, and client communications across sectors.

Due to our continued growth, we are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Cambridge team. The role is hybrid working.
You will work closely with colleagues across our London, Oxford and Cambridge offices. All under the guidance of your line manager, Principal Engineers, and project leaders.
We are looking for an exceptional candidate who has confidence in the design of mechanical services and efficiency in design software.
You will be responsible for the oversight of engineers and technicians, including the mentoring and training of other staff; the management of project workflows and milestones; and adherence to internal Quality Assurance standards. As you progress, you will gain experience in bidding for new work, drafting fee proposals and project financial management.
You will be working closely with other team members seeing projects through from inception to completion and handover.
