University of Salford is seeking a Graduate Sustainability Communications and Engagement Officer to join the Central Sustainability Office, in partnership with Salford Students’ Union. You will contribute to the University Sustainability Strategy and Net Zero Carbon commitments through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate from University of Salford within the past 3 years, in a sustainability or communications subject.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a firm commitment to sustainability.
• Strong communication, networking and relationship skills to engage staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of events and initiatives to engage staff and students on environmental issues.
• Assist with communication to raise awareness and influence sustainable choices.
• Help identify and build links with student groups and volunteers.
• Work with student volunteers to deliver events and activities.
