The University of Salford is seeking a Graduate Sustainability Communications and Engagement Officer to join the Central Sustainability Office, partnering with Salford Students’ Union. The role focuses on delivering the Sustainability Strategy and Net Zero commitments while engaging staff and students in sustainable actions.

Qualifications

• Must be a recent graduate from the University of Salford within the last three years in a sustainability or communications related subject.
• Knowledge of sustainability issues and strong communication, networking and relationship skills.

Responsabilités

• Work with the Sustainability Engagement Officer and wider Sustainability Office to support the delivery of events and initiatives throughout the year to engage staff and students on environmental issues.
• Assist with communication to help raise awareness, educate and influence staff and students to make more sustainable choices.
• Support colleagues in the Sustainability Office and Salford SU to identify and build links with student groups and student volunteers.
• Work alongside student volunteers to deliver successful events and activities.
