Job summary

Stantec is recruiting for its 2027 Graduate Programme in Plymouth or Exeter for a Graduate Structural Engineer. You will join a close-knit team of civil and structural engineers and support design and delivery of building projects across the South West and nationally.

As a Graduate Engineer, you will undertake structural analysis, prepare sketches and drawings, assist with 3D Revit models, attend meetings, and work toward IEng or CEng status with ICE or IStructE.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent is required.
Familiarity with structural analysis and design software is beneficial.
Interest in pursuing professional chartership (IEng/CEng) with ICE/IStructE.

Responsibilities

Support the design and delivery of building projects through structural analysis and design calculations.
Prepare specifications, sketches and drawings for structural systems.
Assist with 3D Revit models and project drawings.
Attend project and team meetings to develop communication and collaboration.
Work toward professional qualification (IEng/CEng) with ICE or IStructE.
