Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Structural, General or Architectural Engineering, or Engineering Science, at 2.1 or above.
• Studying, or have studied, an ICE or IStructE accredited course.
• A passion for structural engineering.

Responsibilities

• Analysis: Carrying out structural calculations, modelling, engineering, computer, and hand analysis.
• Design: Finding structural engineering solutions that minimise embodied carbon and support sustainable goals.
• Communication: Through drawings, digital modelling, calculations, BIM, meetings and reports.
• Working with teams: Cooperating, giving and following instructions, solving problems together.
• Learning: The practice of structural engineering, codes, software and construction techniques.
• Planning your work: Agreeing deadlines and coordinating with the team.
• Taking responsibility: for quality and timely delivery and for professional development.
• Finding new ways: of working, learning international best practice, scripting and automation.
