Strata Consulting in Gloucester is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join its expanding team. You will contribute to the design of building structures from early stages, assisting with calculations, drawings and technical reports while learning from experienced engineers.

The role offers hands-on mentoring, exposure to diverse projects across commercial, industrial, retail, public sector and residential developments, a clear development pathway toward chartership, and hybrid working to

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a UK structural design consultancy.
• Basic understanding of structural design in steel, concrete, masonry and timber.
• Familiarity with structural analysis and design software used in UK practice.
• Ability to assist with structural calculations, drawings and technical reports.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn from others.
• Strong academic background with a BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Desire to pursue chartership with the IStructE or ICE.

Responsibilities

• Design building structures from an early stage and assist with calculations, drawings and technical reports.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver project milestones.
