Job summary

Strata Consulting in Gloucester seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead project delivery and client relationships across a diverse portfolio. You will guide projects from concept through construction, mentoring junior engineers and influencing design decisions within a collaborative team.

The role offers hybrid, flexible working and a strong focus on training, CPD, and professional development, with meaningful progression toward associate-level responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering structural designs across a range of building types.
• Strong technical ability in structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber.
• Experience using Tekla, Tedds, Robot, ETABS or similar.
• The ability to manage projects from concept through to construction.
• Experience mentoring or overseeing junior engineers and technicians.
• Confident communication skills with clients, architects and contractors.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• A strong academic background with a BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered with the IStructE or ICE (or working towards).

Responsibilities
