Job summary

Reward is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the design and development of our loyalty platform in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will work with Product Owners to deliver software that fulfils business requirements and gain exposure to platforms used by millions of people daily.

We value problem-solving ability and strong communication, with opportunities to work on technologies like JavaScript (Angular/Node), .NET Core, AWS, Docker and Kubernetes in a hybrid model with three

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience or familiarity with back-end development using languages such as NodeJS or C# .NET Core / .NET 6+.
• Ability to tackle complex challenges with innovative solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Role Summary

As a Software Engineer at Reward working on our loyalty platform in a fast paced, agile environment, you will be contributing to the design and development of our core product suite working with Product Owners to deliver software that fulfil business requirements. You will gain exposure to working on platforms used by millions of people every day.

Reward recruits passionate Software Engineers who are truly interested in their chosen field. Specific languages and frameworks come and go but at Reward we are more interested in your approach as a Software Engineer, how you solve problems.

The skills that make great Software Engineers are transferrable. If you have experience in some of the following technologies, we would be interested in speaking with you. Obviously, it’s an advantage the more you know but we don’t expect anyone to have experience of all of them!

• Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. Relevant experience from internships, placement years, or personal projects is highly valued.
• Experience or familiarity with back-end development using languages such as NodeJS or C# .NET Core / .NET 6+
• Ability to tackle complex challenges with innovative solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
