Job summary

Reward is recruiting a Graduate Software Engineer to join our technology team in Belfast, working in a fast-paced agile environment. You will design, build and enhance products powering personalised customer experiences for global banks and retailers.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
  • Experience through internships, placements, university projects or personal coding projects.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to design, development and delivery of software solutions that meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers and stakeholders to build scalable applications.
  • Develop and enhance features across loyalty and customer engagement platforms.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Grow engineering expertise while working on products used by millions of customers globally.

Requirements

At Reward, we hire engineers who are curious, passionate about technology and excited by solving real-world problems.

While experience with specific technologies is beneficial, we're more interested in your problem-solving approach, willingness to learn and passion for software engineering.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
  • Experience gained through internships, placement years, university projects or personal coding projects.
  • Exposure to back-end development using technologies such as Node.js or C# .NET Core / .NET 6+.
  • A passion for tackling complex technical challenges and finding innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from experienced engineers.
