Job summary

Graphcore is offering a Graduate Silicon Engineer programme in the UK, with a permanent role and two years of hands-on learning. You will join one of four silicon teams and tackle tasks in RTL design, verification, SOC integration, or DFT, gaining experience with industry-standard EDA tools and senior mentorship.

From day one you’ll own tasks, share ideas and contribute to chip development for future AI systems, while learning practical silicon engineering skills and design techniques within a

Qualifications

• On track for, or achieved, a degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a related subject such as Physics, Maths
• Good coding skills such as C, C++ or Python
• An interest in digital design, ASICs, verification, physical design, computer architecture or AI compute, and motivation to learn modern silicon design techniques and EDA tools

Responsibilities

• Join one of four specialist Silicon teams: logical design, verification, physical design or DFT and contribute to real chip development
• Work on RTL design, SOC integration, verification methods, physical implementation or DFT depending on team
• Use industry-standard EDA tools and take ownership of clear tasks with support from experienced engineers
