Academics is seeking a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant in Gloucester to start ASAP. You will support children with a range of SEN needs in 1:1 and group settings, helping implement personalised learning plans designed by teachers and SENCo.

We welcome graduates with a genuine interest in SEN, strong communication skills, and a flexible, proactive approach. The role offers full-time hours, weekdays 8:30am-3:30pm, and daily pay of £90-£105 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic graduate with a genuine interest in SEN.
• Degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, proactive, and adaptable approach.
• Experience working with children or young people (formal or informal) is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support children with a range of SEN needs in 1:1 and group settings.
• Assist with the implementation of personalised learning plans designed by the class teacher and SENCo.
• Encourage inclusion, independence, and engagement among pupils
• Adapt learning materials and activities to suit individual needs
• Collaborate with teaching staff, therapists, and families to support student progress
