Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a secondary school in Warrington, who are seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a full-time role starting in September 2025, continuing for the full academic year in the first instance.
We’re looking to speak with confident and compassionate graduates who have experience supporting young people with additional needs – whether in a school setting, care environment, or other youth-based roles.
The successful Graduate SEN TA will work under the direction of the school’s SENCO and be responsible for supporting a designated group of students across a range of lessons. You’ll be working with students who have additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, and challenging behaviour, providing both in-class support and targeted intervention sessions.
This opportunity is ideal for graduates who are passionate about inclusion and looking to gain hands-on experience in education before pursuing a career in teaching, psychology, or SEN support.
