Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (Chorley)
Pay: £13.75 per hour
Location: Chorley, Lancashire
Start Date: As soon as possible

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school located in Chorley. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are considering a career in education and wish to gain hands-on experience in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teaching staff in the delivery of lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning and boost confidence.
• Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
• Provide pastoral support and promote positive behaviour.
• Contribute to a safe and stimulating learning environment.

Requirements:

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree.
• A genuine interest in education and working with young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, patient, and proactive.
• Experience working with children or young people (in any capacity) is desirable but not essential.
