Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a Psychology graduate to join a specialist school in Royston/Meldreth, Hertfordshire, as a SEN Teaching Assistant. You will work with children aged 6–19 with Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and SEMH, delivering tailored 1:1 and small‑group support and helping create a safe, inclusive learning environment.

This is more than a TA role: you’ll gain hands‑on experience alongside therapists and teachers, receive fully funded training and recognised qualifications, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology (or related field) preferred.
• GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills essential.
• Willingness to support children with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Support students in the classroom and throughout the school day.
• Deliver 1:1 and small-group support.
• Encourage communication, emotional wellbeing and independence.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
• Provide personal care where required.
