Randstad Delivery is recruiting a graduate or early career scientist for a 12-month role based in Witney. The position offers a salary of £30,000–£35,000 per annum and a standard 37.5-hour work week in a world-class healthcare and medical device setting.

The role requires strong communication skills and laboratory experience, with responsibilities spanning protocol development, data analysis, and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate or early career scientist; some industry experience preferred but not essential.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Experience working in a laboratory or scientific/technical environment.

Responsabilités

• Perform testing to protocol or procedure while adhering to good laboratory practice.
• Develop protocols to accomplish goals.
• Produce prototype product or communicate prototype requirements to support experiments.
• Utilise analytical instruments and train others in their operation.
• Participate in experimental design discussions and identify variables that may impact results.
• Analyse data, evaluate results and form conclusions.
• Prepare effective summaries of results and communicate to the wider team.
• Compile and maintain records as required by good laboratory practice.
• Write clear, technically correct reports with feedback from colleagues.
• Liaise with other departments and present technical information to team meetings.
• Ensure compliance with change control procedures and health & safety requirements.
