KPI Education is partnering with a forward-thinking secondary school in Liverpool, seeking a Graduate Science Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026. This full-time, long-term position offers meaningful classroom experience before Teacher Training.

You will provide focused academic support across KS3 and KS4, work with experienced Science teachers, and develop your teaching, communication, and tutoring skills in a supportive department.

Graduate Science Teaching Assistant

• Full-time, long-term position commencing September 2026
• Monday–Friday, 32.5 hours per week during term time
• Assignment rate of up to £560 per week
• Liverpool city centre location with excellent public transport connections
• Applicants should hold a 2:1 degree or above in a Science-related subject
• Biology, Chemistry, and Physics graduates are especially welcome
• Provide focused academic support across KS3 and KS4
• Collaborate with experienced Science teachers to enhance pupils’ understanding
• Develop valuable classroom experience ahead of Teacher Training from September 2027

This Graduate Science Teaching Assistant opportunity is ideal for a recent Science graduate looking to gain practical experience within a secondary school before progressing into teacher training. You’ll support pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis, helping them grasp challenging topics, strengthen their confidence, and make continued academic progress.
