Job summary

KPI Education are partnering with a forward-thinking Leeds secondary school to recruit a Graduate Science Teaching Assistant from September 2026. The role is full-time, 32.5 hours per week during term time, with interviews taking place immediately.

You will support KS3 and KS4 pupils in Biology, Chemistry or Physics, under the guidance of experienced science teachers, gaining in-school experience ahead of Teacher Training.

Qualifications

• Recent Science graduate with degree 2:1 or higher.
• Biology, Chemistry, or Physics graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted academic support to KS3 and KS4 pupils.
• Work alongside experienced Science teachers to reinforce learning and pupil confidence.
• Help pupils understand challenging concepts and build confidence in Science.

• Full-time, long-term role starting from September 2026
• Monday-Friday, 32.5 hours per week during term time
• Assignment rate of up to £560 per week
• Leeds-based secondary school with excellent transport links
• Open to Science graduates with a 2:1 degree or higher
• Biology, Chemistry, and Physics graduates are particularly encouraged to apply
