Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting graduates with a passion for working with children to join primary schools around Wakefield on a supply basis, starting September. Roles can be day-to-day or longer-term, offering hands-on classroom experience and the chance to develop teaching-related skills.

Qualifications

• A degree or relevant higher education qualification in Education, Childhood Studies, Psychology, Educational Psychology, Sociology, Health & Social Care or another child-related subject.
• A genuine passion for working with children and young people and an interest in developing a career within education.
• Previous experience with children is desirable but not essential (volunteering, tutoring, mentoring, placement).
• Patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach with confidence to build positive relationships.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn about education, safeguarding and inclusive practice.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) and the Right to Work in the UK.

We're currently recruiting for Graduates with a passion for working in education to join Primary Schools and educational settings in and around Wakefield, on a long or short-term basis starting in September.

This role is on a supply basis and could either be Day-2-Day work or a Longer-Term position, depending on your preference.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Requirements or Skills:

• A degree or relevant higher education qualification, ideally in Education, Childhood Studies, Psychology, Educational Psychology, Sociology, Health & Social Care or another child-related subject.
• A genuine passion for working with children and young people and an interest in developing a career within education.
• Previous experience working with children is desirable, but not essential - this could include volunteering, tutoring, mentoring, coaching or placement experience.
• A patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach, with the confidence to build positive relationships with pupils.
