Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is offering a Graduate Risk Analyst role based in Derby as part of its 2027 Early Careers programme. You will work with risk managers, engineers and project teams to identify, assess and mitigate risks across major infrastructure projects.

The role develops analytical and professional skills, with a structured graduate development programme, and opportunities to gain accreditation while contributing to significant UK infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Business or a related field required.
• Minimum 2:2 honours degree by start date.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and monitor risks across major infrastructure and construction projects.
• Support development and maintenance of project risk registers.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative risk assessments to evaluate impacts on cost, schedule and quality.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies with project teams.
• Analyse risk data to identify trends and support decision-making.
