Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc invites graduates to join a Midlands-based Commercial Banking Relationship Management programme. You will rotate between Birmingham, Castle Donington and Leicester, starting July 2027, with structured training across product, credit and risk functions to build trusted client partnerships.

You’ll learn how financial solutions are designed, priced and delivered while developing stronger relationship-management and cross-team collaboration skills for a future client-facing role.

Qualifications

• Be available to work full-time from July 2027.
• Have achieved, or be on track to achieve, a 2:1 Undergraduate degree classification or above (or an international equivalent)
• Will have completed studies by July 2027
• Legally permitted to work in the UK for the full duration of the programme and beyond the end date, without requiring HSBC visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Complete two six-month placements in Product teams to learn financial solutions and support product delivery, pricing, and risk controls.
• Proceed to a 12-month Coverage placement to support client relationships and coordinate specialist expertise across Credit, Risk, Legal, Operations and Technology.
• Understand client objectives, identify opportunities and balance client needs with commercial returns and risk.
• Work within a relationship-led team in Commercial Banking to support business clients and build long-term partnerships.
