Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Graduate Systems Engineer to join our Rail & Transportation Systems team. You will work on large, complex programmes across the UK and internationally, applying systems thinking to design, integrate, and assure transport systems.

You will be supported by a mentor and participate in Accelerating your Future development. Roles are available in Croydon and London, with a hybrid working policy and a strong focus on training, mentoring, and early career progression within

Qualifications

• Less than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements).
• Bachelors or masters degree in a relevant field (to be obtained no earlier than 2025) or expected.
• Interest in rail, transportation, and systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to rail and transportation systems projects across UK and global markets.
• Apply systems engineering principles across the lifecycle of complex transport projects.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to deliver assurance solutions for clients.
• Support requirements management, system architecture development, and RAM/ESM activities.
