Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Engineer for Rail Systems and Operations in London. The role offers exposure to systems engineering, railway lifecycle projects, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to deliver safe, reliable rail solutions.

You will support feasibility studies, interfaces, and assurance activities across multiple rail projects, with opportunities to contribute to bids and delivery as you grow.

Qualifications

• Electrical, Mechanical, Telecommunications and Aerospace engineering degrees.
• Full working rights in the country of application.
• No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role.
• Recently graduated, or on track to graduate, from your most recent degree before employment starts.

Responsibilities

• Support the application of systems engineering principles across the railway project lifecycle, helping to develop safe, reliable and sustainable rail solutions.
• Assist with systems integration, interface management, feasibility studies and assurance activities on a variety of rail projects.
• Opportunity to contribute to project delivery, bid activities and technical problem-solving.
