Job summary

Arup is seeking a graduate Rail - Rolling Stock position in Nottingham to contribute across the full lifecycle of rolling stock projects, from strategy and procurement to design and maintenance. You will collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic graduate program.

You will develop technical and professional skills through real projects, site visits and client engagement, supported by an active Early Careers team and visa-free eligibility in the UK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Full working rights in the country of application.
• No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role.
• Recently graduated or on track to graduate before employment starts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with technical studies, vehicle specification development and engineering assurance activities.
• Contribute to fleet procurement, modernisation and decarbonisation programmes, including assessment of emerging technologies.
