Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Management or a related discipline with a 2:1 (or equivalent).
• Masters qualification in a relevant discipline would be advantageous.
• Interest in infrastructure project delivery and rail transportation.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of project delivery principles.
• Enthusiastic, hard-working and motivated to develop a career in project management.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to structure and prioritise work effectively while managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Selected candidates will be enrolled on our Graduate Development Programme and have the opportunity to develop their skills within a supporting environment which encourages challenge and collaborative behaviours.
• Working as part of multidisciplinary rail teams, candidates will gain experience across the project lifecycle, including:
• Supporting the planning, delivery and monitoring of railway infrastructure projects.
• Assisting project managers with programme management, cost control and risk management activities.
• Supporting stakeholder engagement and client communications.
• Assisting with project reporting, governance and performance tracking.
• Contributing to the development of project plans, schedules and resource forecasts.
• Supporting multidisciplinary teams in delivering projects safely, efficiently and sustainably.
• Assisting with contract administration and project documentation.
• Developing an understanding of project controls, commercial management and rail delivery processes.
