Ayesa Engineering - UK and Ireland invites applications for a graduate structural engineer role in Manchester. You will join the Rail & Bridges team, working on live UK rail projects and developing skills across design, analysis, site work and client liaison.

You will be mentored by experienced engineers, gain exposure to the full lifecycle of structural projects, and benefit from training and professional development opportunities within a global organisation.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Strong communication with clients and colleagues.
• Commitment to Continued Professional Development.
• Interest in rail/bridges sector and structural engineering.
• Knowledge of structural materials and codes (BS/Eurocodes) desirable.
• Experience with structural software desirable.

Responsibilities

• Join project team to deliver civil/structural services.
• Assist design and assessment of structural elements.
• Support delivery of designs per standards.
• Assist with calculations and technical reporting.
• Prepare drawings and technical deliverables.
• Attend site inspections and surveys.
• Collaborate with contractors and clients.
• Develop practical skills with mentorship.
• Monitor safety, regulatory compliance.
• Understand project requirements, budgets, timelines.
• Support IMS compliance.
• Represent Ayesa professionally to clients.
