You should hold a 2:1 degree in Quantity Surveying or a related subject, with good numerical/analytical ability and a keenness to learn. The role is office-based with occasional project travel.

• You have a 2:1 degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related subject.
• You show a genuine interest in developing a career within quantity surveying and construction.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills are essential.
• Excellent attention to detail is important.
• Good communication and organisational skills are required.
• A willingness to learn and take responsibility is expected.
• Ability to work as part of a wider commercial and project team is essential.
• A full UK driving licence would be beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Supporting Quantity Surveyors with the commercial management of projects.
• Assisting with subcontract procurement and tendering.
• Helping to prepare valuations and cost reports.
• Monitoring project costs and expenditure.
• Assisting with variations and change control.
• Supporting the preparation of forecasts and financial information.
• Developing relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assisting with subcontractor payments and final accounts.
• Working closely with Project Managers and the wider delivery team.
• Learning how to manage commercial risk and protect project profitability.
• Building your knowledge of contracts, procurement and commercial management.
