Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc in the UK is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor for its 2027 Early Careers programme based at Derby, Raynesway. You will gain hands-on experience on major infrastructure projects and start developing commercial and professional skills from day one.

You’ll work with experienced teams across cost management, procurement and project controls, with a structured development programme and support toward professional accreditation as you progress your career.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying (2:2 honours minimum).
• Interest in infrastructure and commercial management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cost management across project lifecycle.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts and budgets.
• Support procurement activities including tendering and supplier engagement.
• Contribute to commercial evaluations and project controls.
