Job summary

targetjobs UK is seeking a motivated Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our Construction team. This role offers a solid start for a recent graduate to develop commercial and project management skills on projects from inception to completion.

You will gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, support towards chartership pathways such as RICS, and collaborate with experienced QS and PMs to deliver value for money and quality.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Interest in developing a career in Quantity Surveying and commercial management.
• Willingness to work towards RICS accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cost planning, budgeting, cashflow forecasting and financial reporting.
• Support development and maintenance of project cost plans and commercial records.
• Assist with measurement and quantification of construction works and monitor expenditure.
• Support procurement activities including tender documentation and quotations.
• Assist with contract administration with NEC/JCT experience.
• Attend site visits, progress meetings and project reviews.
• Support project valuations, final accounts, change control and variations.

Education
