Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Understanding of QS principles and construction costs.
• Interest in procurement and contract administration; pursuing RICS or similar accreditation.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and manage workloads.
• Good written and verbal communication; ability to present findings clearly.
• Proactive, commercially aware and eager to build a career in QS.
• Full UK driving licence; willingness to travel to offices/sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cost estimates, budgets and cashflow forecasts.
• Support cost plans and financial records development and maintenance.
• Assist with measuring and quantifying construction works.
• Maintain commercial records and cost reports.
• Monitor expenditure against budgets.
• Support procurement activities and tender documentation.
• Assist with contract administration and appointments.
