Job summary

OCU Group is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team in either Ruislip or Reading. You will support the delivery of infrastructure and utility projects, under the supervision of senior QS professionals, gaining exposure to commercial management from tender through final account.

The two‑year Graduate Programme offers hands-on responsibility, structured training and progression within OCU's project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or related discipline with a minimum 2:2.
• Full UK driving licence would be beneficial.
• Relevant experience through placements or internships in construction/infrastructure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with valuations and subcontractor accounts.
• Support cost reporting, forecasting and procurement activities.
• Contribute to variance analysis, cost control and commercial reporting.
• Engage in contract administration and risk management across projects.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to maximise commercial value.
