Job summary

United Infrastructure Water Limited in Wakefield runs a two-year graduate programme across our national water and wastewater services. You will join the commercial team, support quantity surveyors, and gain hands-on experience on live construction projects from day one.

The programme offers a tailored development pathway aligned to your discipline, with virtual and in-person events, professional accreditation, and progression opportunities across pathways.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2.2 Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Good organisation, time management and communication skills.
• Driving licence or be actively working towards achieving this. Awareness of NEC contracts.

Role

We are looking for a Graduate to join our Water business who business division who are a national provider of infrastructure and non-infrastructure water and wastewater services to UK water utility companies. The Role Day to day, you will support the commercial team and you will assist the Quantity Surveyors who estimate and control costs for our construction projects, working with both internal colleagues and our clients at every stage of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• supporting with potential negotiations or commercial issues.
• assisting the work winning team with tender applications.
• helping prepare monthly valuations, reports and variations.
