Job summary

ParkCity Multitrade Ltd in North Wales is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor/Assistant to join our friendly team and develop your career with strong support.

You’ll be a recent QS graduate or due to graduate in 2026, and you’ll assist with bills of quantities, tender documents, valuations and site tasks across North Wales. This is a full-time role with a starting salary of £30,000, plus company vehicle and a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Recent Quantity Surveying graduate, or due to graduate in 2026.
• Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake site measurements to prepare detailed bills of quantities.
• Prepare tender and contract/subcontract documents.
• Prepare client valuations and invoices.
• Agree sub-contractor measurements.
• Negotiate rates with sub-contractors.
• Attend site visits and pre-start meetings across North Wales.
• Attend internal meetings.

We work on varied and exciting construction projects across a range of sectors including Social Housing, Care and Education. Our team is passionate and dynamic, and our current projects involve working closely with Wrexham, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Conwy and Anglesey Councils as well as approved contractors for Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, North Wales Police and Adra.

The Role – Graduate Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Reporting to and supported by the Quantity Surveyors, as a Graduate Quantity Surveyor your duties will include, although not be limited to:

• Undertaking site measurements to build up detailed bills of quantities
• Preparing tender and contract / subcontract documents
• Preparing client valuations and invoices
• Agreeing sub-contractor measures
• Negotiating rates and discounts with sub-contractors
• Attending site visits and prestart meetings across North Wales
• Attending internal meetings

Our Requirements – Graduate Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor

• Full UK driving licence
• Either be a recent Quantity Surveying graduate, or be due to graduate in 2026
• Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

The Package

• Starting salary of £30,000, rising with experience. Negotiable depending on experience.
• Access to a company vehicle and fuel card
• Permanent contract, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday

You’ll be based from our offices on St Asaph Business Park.
