Job summary

Flagship Consulting in Cardiff is recruiting a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to support delivery across a range of infrastructure projects. You will work alongside experienced QS and Project Managers, assisting with cost estimates, procurement, valuations and cost reporting, gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle.

The role offers solid development prospects, with NEC3/4 contract administration and opportunities to progress towards MRICS status and APC.

Qualifications

• Have recently completed or be working towards a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management
• Have some experience within a Quantity Surveying role (placement year, internship, etc)
• Have a working knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts and contract administration
• Be committed to achieving MRICS status and working towards their APC
• Have strong communication and client-facing skills
• Be proactive, organised and keen to take on increasing responsibility
• Have a genuine interest in developing their commercial and project management skills

Responsibilities

One of the region s fastest growing Infrastructure Consultancies is actively recruiting a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to be based in Cardiff.

THE COMPANY

The client is an independent, privately owned Consultancy with a strong reputation in the market and an exciting pipeline of projects across the region.

They work across a range of sectors within Infrastructure and provide their team with the opportunity to gain exposure to projects throughout the full project lifecycle, working alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers.

THE POSITION

They are actively looking to recruit a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of high-quality quantity surveying services across a range of projects.

The successful Quantity Surveyor will work alongside experienced professionals and have the opportunity to get involved in everything from pre-contract cost planning and procurement through to post-contract commercial management.

The role will include assisting with cost estimates, tender and contractual documentation, valuations, cost reporting, cashflow forecasting and risk assessments, as well as attending site visits and working closely with clients, contractors and wider project teams.
