Job Description

Are you passionate about quality and eager to make a meaningful impact in the pharmaceutical industry? We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Officer to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career in a regulated industry, ensuring the highest standards of product quality and compliance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Maintain and enhance our Quality Management System (QMS) in line with GMP and regulatory standards.
  • Support and conduct internal audits and assist with regulatory inspections (e.g., FDA, EMA).
  • Collaborate with Production and Quality Control teams to uphold quality across all operations.
  • Review and approve batch manufacturing and analytical records, ensuring adherence to SOPs.
  • Assess analytical data (e.g., HPLC, Karl Fischer, TCC) and ensure Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) are compliant.
  • Monitor product shelf-life and manage updates or changes as needed.
  • Investigate deviations, non-conformities, and OOS results, and help implement effective CAPAs.
  • Maintain and update all quality documentation, including SOPs, risk assessments, and validation protocols.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • A basic understanding of GMP, regulatory requirements, and quality systems (we’ll provide training!).
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high standards.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Confidence in using Microsoft Office and (ideally) quality management systems or databases.
  • Clear and professional communication skills with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams.
