Job summary

Alexander James Recruiting is working with a UK supplier of warehouse and office space solutions to appoint a Junior Project Manager. The role focuses on understanding the racking industry and managing smaller projects across the UK, with progression potential as the business grows.

Responsibilities include developing project plans, liaising with clients, cost control with the installations team, ordering materials and visiting sites.

Qualifications

• Open on educational background; construction/PM/engineering fields encouraged.
• Willingness to learn about warehouse racking industry and products.
• AutoCAD exposure is a plus for designing project plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of racking and storage industry.
• Manage projects to fit customer requirements for racking, mezzanine flooring, partitioning and related products.
• Create project plans and designs, liaise with clients throughout the project.
• Oversee cost management and work with installations team to maximise efficiency.
• Order materials and book plant for projects.
• Visit sites to liaise with site managers.
