Job summary

Alexander James Recruiting Ltd is working with a well-established supplier of warehouse and office space solutions to hire a Project Manager for projects across Yorkshire and the UK. You will manage diverse projects, produce CAD installation drawings, liaise with clients and subcontractors, and travel to sites several times per week.

Qualifications

• Experience of project management within racking, mezzanine, partitioning or related industries.

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established supplier of warehouse and office space solutions looking to on-board a new Project Manager to effectively deal with in-bound queries and manage their projects across Yorkshire and the UK. With a competitive basic salary and overall packages, this a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with industry experience and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects of various sizes and values to fit customers’ requirements for racking, mezzanine flooring, partitioning and related products across Yorkshire and nationally
• Following up on in-bound leads from both existing and new clients
• Creating project plans to fit with the expectations of the company’s clients; liaising with them throughout the duration of the project
• Overseeing cost management and working with the Installations team to maximize the efficiency of project completion
• Carrying out site surveys and completing installation drawings using CAD software
• Visiting sites regularly to liaise with subcontractors and customers

Requirements

The company are looking for an individual with experience of project management within the racking, mezzanine, partitioning or closely related industries. It is also highly preferable that you have a basic understanding of autoCAD as the position will require you to create installations drawings. Due to the requirements of the role, you must hold a full UK driver’s license as you will be expected to travel to customer sites a few times per week and to the company’s depot in South Yorkshire twice per week. In terms of location, you will ideally be based in Yorkshire or within a commutable distance of Yorkshire as there will be some requirements in the office. There is an element of national travel with the position.
