Job summary

Scottish Water is offering a Graduate Programme 2026 for a Project Manager within Scottish Water Horizons. You will contribute to delivering water and wastewater infrastructure across Scotland, supporting housing, hydrogen projects, and data centers.

The three-year programme includes rotations, structured training, and mentoring, with a view to a permanent Project Manager role. Starting salary is £33,000, with increases as milestones are reached; final progression begins at £44,030.

Qualifications

• Graduated within the last three years (or on track to graduate this summer) with a degree in Engineering, Project Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2:2 classification.

Responsibilities

• Embed in Scottish Water Horizons to support delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Contribute to projects that support housing developments, hydrogen production, and data centers.
• Work on hydrogen economy initiatives and sustainable water-use solutions.
• Develop hands-on experience in project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and milestone tracking.
• Rotate through placements over three years with structured training and mentoring.
