Job summary

EnerMech is seeking a Graduate Project Engineer to join the Pipelines and Subsea Business Line in Aberdeen. The role is ideal for a newly graduated Mechanical Engineering student local to Aberdeen, seeking a mechanical service role in the oil and gas sector.

You will assist in coordinating projects, ensure timely delivery, and help manage costs, resources and progress reporting under supervision, gaining hands-on experience in project execution.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree or similar with a mechanical bias.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understands and interprets relevant standards and can perform tasks with minimal supervision.
• Engages team support in solving complex problems.
• Interprets procedures in context and knows when to consult.
• Recognises opportunities within own area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering activities and all functions necessary for project delivery.
• Support in on-time delivery and stakeholder communications.
• Assist in control of operational and financial management for project completion.
• Ensure materials, personnel and equipment are fit for purpose and dispatched timely.
• Manage and report on costs associated with assigned activities and scopes.
