Job summary

DCS Recruitment Limited is seeking a motivated Graduate Project Engineer to join an innovative engineering and technology business in Hampshire. The role targets recent graduates or early-career engineers gaining exposure across manufacturing, engineering and project delivery.

You will work alongside experienced engineers, supporting project delivery from development through to manufacture and contributing to continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent in mechanical, manufacturing or electronics engineering or a related discipline.
• HND or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities required.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of engineering and manufacturing projects from concept through to production.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Coordinate activities between engineering, manufacturing, quality and supply chain teams.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) activities and manufacturing readiness reviews.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, efficiency and product quality.
• Assist with root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
• Support engineering change management and documentation updates.
• Maintain project records, documentation and progress reports.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support project delivery.
