Job summary

Glanua invites graduates to join a two-year structured development programme designed to immerse you in its water, wastewater and bioresources business. You're set to complete one 12-month rotation and two six-month rotations, with live projects, mentoring, and structured training guiding your progression across engineering, HR, sustainability, finance and health & safety.

International placements may be available in Portugal, the UK, or Ireland, depending on business needs and suitability.

Qualifications

• A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, or expected completion before the programme begins.
• A genuine interest in the water, wastewater and bioresources industry and in contributing to sustainable infrastructure and business operations.
• Strong communication, teamwork, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach, willingness to learn and flexibility to work across office, site and rotation locations.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, SharePoint Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Both are essential due to project locations and programme travel requirements.
• Previous experience gained through an internship, work placement, summer role, volunteering or university project is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Participate fully in each rotation and support the delivery of departmental, project and operational objectives.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders across the business, contributing to live projects and day-to-day activities.
• Assist with research, analysis, reporting, record-keeping and process improvement within each assigned function.
• Follow all relevant health, safety, environmental, quality, sustainability, financial and organisational policies and procedures.
• Take ownership of your learning, maintain accurate development records and apply feedback to build your professional capabilities.
