Job summary

Academics in Redbridge, London is seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to support children across Reception to Year 6, working with the class teacher to help pupils achieve their academic targets. The role is based in Redbridge, London, full-time, term-time only, with an ASAP start in October or November 2026.

Ideal candidates are graduates with strong academics, who enjoy working with children of all abilities and have prior experience with SEND/SEMH.

Responsibilities

• Support students both in and outside of lessons alongside the class teacher.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support across Reception to Year 6.
• Work with pupils with ASD, ADHD and SEMH as required.
