Job summary

Appvia in London is launching its Graduate Platform Engineer academy to join our AWS Practice and support a major UK public sector programme. You will work with experienced engineers, learn cloud, automation, DevOps, platforms, and modern delivery methods in a tightly-knit team, not a large junior group.

You will gain hands-on experience on cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, Linux, CI/CD, containers, and platform operations, with increasing ownership as you grow.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical subject (CS, IT, SE, etc.).
Exposure to cloud platforms or certifications is advantageous.
Interest in platform engineering, cloud, and automation.

Responsibilities

Support assessment of customer infrastructure and cloud adoption opportunities.
Help build and configure AWS cloud environments and platform services.
Contribute to cloud migration, implementation, and optimization activities.
Apply DevOps principles and automation to improve deployment and platform management.
Document configurations, troubleshooting steps, and engineering processes.
