Job summary

Anglian Water Services is seeking a motivated Graduate Planner to support the programme planning of a major potable water transfer project across East Anglia. This hybrid role is based in Peterborough and offers real project experience from day one.

You will use planning tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project, collaborate with engineers and commercial teams, and help deliver milestones on time and to high standards. Start September 2027 and extensive training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• 2:2 degree or above in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Genuine interest in project controls, scheduling, or infrastructure delivery.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Proactive, detail-driven approach and a willingness to learn.
• Full UK driving licence (or working towards it).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of detailed project programmes using planning software (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Monitor project progress and help identify risks, delays, or opportunities for improvement.
• Work alongside engineers, project managers, and commercial teams to coordinate key milestones.
• Support the production of reports, dashboards, and lookahead schedules.
• Attend project meetings and contribute to short- and long-term planning activities.
• Help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to high-quality standards.
