Qualifications
- Education to degree level on an accredited RTPI course or a Human Geography graduate with clear motivation to study a part-time Master’s in Planning.
- Strong research, problem-solving and initiative are key.
- Good IT literacy and effective communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Undertaking research to support planning applications and local plan promotion.
- Evaluating prospects of development sites with the Land team and site processes.
- Assisting in master planning and site design.
- Attending meetings with landowners and agents to secure sites.
- Monitoring planning applications and policy changes.
- Assisting representations to Local/Neighbourhood Plans and data administration.
